my VERY random WANTS.

it may be hard to picture this lingerie set w/the pumps, but somehow in my random thinking (inside my head), i feel like this would make a CUTE outfit, walking around your house in the heat of summer hell just for fun. trade in the flip flops, shorts n' tee or tank for this, for just one day. while your boyfriend is visiting, staying over, *helping* around the house?
i just love this, it's a fun piece :) perfect for your next 4th of july bbq in your backyard!!

i lOve this purple trenchcoat. i want, want, want it! and it's on sale. at plasticland!

i. need. these. cute vintage looking maryjane pumps.

i'm a sucker for cute summer dresses that remind me of the kinds of dresses i wore at nine years old :)

this high heeled open toe platform patent pump in this seagreen color looks hideous maybe by itself, but i think it'd look sexy with a cute top, skinny black jeans or tights and voila. i die for these too. well, not die for them. they're $42.00. i can budget for them :)

i would lOve to have these types of platforms in all colors available.
of course i'm loving this Treesje Turner Bag in pumpkin i think is the color?

i decided i want this vintage style button up jacket too. would look SO cute w/dark wash jeans and either cranberry flats, OR, black flats.

again, another summer dress i love that i could wear now, but is reminiscent of my childhood days. just love that vintage look..
for summer.

NEWS FLASH: retail therapy WORKS!

So, a friend and I had unexpectedly ended up at Nordstrom today. We were supposed to put blinders on and just walk through Nordie's and go straight to parking lot after taking advantage of the great deals at Old Navy and Bath and Body Works Semi-Annual sale, which ends Sunday. We were too weak. I think subconsciously we parked at Nordstrom for a reason. After deciding we would hit Starbucks and go home, we ended up at Nordstrom...for two hours~!
But look at what I scored today!!!
And to justify my purchases (in my head of course).. I must remind myself I deserve it because I've decided NOT to get the GUCCI bag or any other bag; to just be happy with the bags I have and put them to good use ('til Xmas or my Bday month) ...and since I just SOLD a Louis Vuitton item of mine...I have extra spending ca$h :D
Justified? Yup, Check :)
So, about the dress below. I was able to fit myself in this Junior's dress (I know what was I thinking shopping in the teenaged girls section?? I'm NO teenager - BUT - miraculously the dress fit, it was cute, and best of all? It was on sale!)
*all images below of items I purchased from Nordstrom dot com*
so you can buy online if you don't have a Nordstrom local to you :)
or go to your local Nordstrom tomorrow to get good sale prices :D
Fire Belted Maxi Strapless Junior Dress, $42.00
(see, $120 cheaper than the one I got at Macy's)

Nadri Bezel Necklace in Rhodium, LOVE this necklace :D

TOYWATCH, crystal & metal collection in Rose Gold

Sadly, I contemplated getting these GUCCI sunglasses, but ultimately decided against it. My sunnies are still functional...and are almost new...so decided to save here.
But aren't these "GUCCI Oversized Sunglasses gorgeous??", *sighhh*

Callisto "Jordi" Sandal, sooo worth the price.
- rows of sparkly rhinestone
- napa leather
- cushioned thong for comfort
- made in u.s.a.
need i say more??
$64.95
i bought black, but they do have them in white & silver.
but the black went with maxi dress best (as pictured)

As soon as I came home, I put maxi dress in handwash cycle and placed in dryer, tumble dry low, and VOILA, my outfit is ready for tomorrow to celebrate July 4th. YAYYYY. I'm SO ecstatic. Now I've gotta decide which bag. RM MAB, perhaps?

Goodbye Expensive, Hello Affordables

Today was a good day. I felt really comfortable today in this affordable outfit below. Comfortable because of how affordable it was and because of how it felt on me. Thanks to Old Navy & Steve Madden :D
I purchased a brown and navy colored shirtdress (perfect for summer weekends and work week too), and I scored a pair of Steve Madden wedges in a color that goes well with BOTH my navy and brown shirtdresses from Old Navy. I can barely contain my excitement over these finds!
I'd never really been an Old Navy fan 'til this last year alone, where I quickly realized that if I wanted to afford my handbags and small leather goods *needs*, I'd have to compensate somewhere - so I did! Goodbye Nordstrom, Hello Nordstrom Rack! Goodbye Saks Fifth, Hello Off 5th (Saks Outlet to those that don't know..), Goodbye regularly priced Anthropologie, Hello back clearance section inside Anthropologie...and sales on Anthropologie dot com. Otherwise, off I go to Old Navy...and the clothes I find are just as comfy plus I can save more for my future "bag fund", right? ;P
